The International Training Course on Qanats is going to take place at the International Center on Qanats and Historic Hydraulic Structures in

Yazd, Iran, on July 1-4, 2007, with the presence of the Iranian and foreign participants.�

According to the executive committee’s decision, the Iranian trainees are supposed to pay 2,800,000 Riyals by bank transfer quoting the following details:

The Bank receipt along with the registration form should be sent to the secretary.

Meanwhile, the foreign trainees are supposed to pay their registration fee (300 USD) on site, on their arrival at the place of the training course.

This training course is aimed at promoting the qanat-related knowledge based on the traditional know how as well as incorporating the indigenous knowledge into the modern technology in terms of the system of qanat.
